LCCC is an approved Treatment Provider for The Commission on VASAP. During your case with VASAP you may be classified as requiring a treatment assessment. Please refer to ASAP-related Questions for more information.
A SASSI questionnaire will be administered (Computer based questionnaires available for telehealth) along with a comprehensive Substance Abuse Assessment. Assessments are conducted for both adolescents and adults.

SUBSTANCE ABUSE (SA) SERVICES

- SA Diagnostic Evaluation: Comprehensive Clinical Assessment based on ASAM Criteria.
- SA Psychotherapy Services (ASAM Level 1): Outpatient SA services.
- SA Group Psychotherapy (ASAM Level 1): Group SA services.
SA evaluations are based on American Society of Addiction Medicine Criteria. The ASAM Criteria is the nation’s most respected, comprehensive, and widely used set of research-validated standards for providing outcome-oriented care in the treatment of addiction. Tele-Psychotherapy or Teletherapy improves access to mental healthcare by helping clients overcome barriers to care including scheduling limitations as well as mobility restriction, illness, travel, childcare challenges and transportation difficulties.
Teletherapy services provided by LCCC are conducted according to the highest clinical, legal and ethical standards. Clients are assessed for appropriateness for treatment via telehealth and only services that can be provided effectively through this format are provided.
LCCC uses a HIPAA-compliant video platform that protects the privacy of clients and the confidentiality of protected health information.
